This song is about a friend named Aaron moving to and buying a house in Columbia, Missouri to be closer to his dog that was kept by his ex-girlfriend. They worked out visitations with the dog. Aaron ended up renting rooms in his house out to college students in order to make his bank payments. This song was based on the time Doug almost moved up there for a month when he was still a full time musician.
