about

As the Jackalope song was being recorded several mixes were made. 5 initial ones, then 4 more variations created from those equaling 9 all together. Originally the track that was to be on the "Alien Rave" album included a section with some backward talking that was decided to be included as a separate track called "Black Forest Audio" so it could be better heard and understood. Then the version that made the disc was Jackalope 7 (a version without the backwards talking part), and Jackalope 8 (the backward one) both aptly named with their number. But now for the first time you can hear Jackalope 3 in which was most likely the original pick for the disc, and the one included on the CD that was sent to the band Tonia on that epic night. The fandom now has claimed that each song represents a different parallel universe with now 9 evil Jackalopes that are here to destroy the universe.
